It is a new hotel, situated on St.Petersburg's main boulevard, Nevsky Prospekt. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, in its historical and business district, within walking distance of all the major attractions such as the State Russian Museum, The Hermitage and a short drive from the Mariinsky Theatre. The hotel boasts I 64 luxurious rooms including 17 suites designed to ensure your visit to Russia's Capital of the North is as comfortable and productive as possible, whether you come to us on business or pleasure. Dating from 1730, the building has a colourful history and is thought to be one of the first erected in this part of the city. Cultural and major public events, as well as revolution and war have played their part in the building's past. The original interior was demolished, but the unique facade has been preserved, retaining over 200 years of history. Inside, a glass dome allows daylight into the lobby which is two storeys high. |
