Flights: package price includes flights from / to London and domestic flight where applicable. The package price depends on the availability of flight tickets and is to be reconfirmed on the date of your booking.
Accommodation: 3* hotel DBL in St. Petersburg - 1 nights, tent – 7 nights
Meals: 8 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 6 dinners
Transport: bicycles , off-road car, C class motor boat
Equipment and gear on a tour: equipment for camping and field kitchen, tents for 3-4 people, sleeping bag, sleeping mat.
Tour staff and support: English-speaking guide during your sightseeing and excursions, cook, driver, professional instructor on the active route. Please note that the cycling instructor might have only basic knowledge of the English language. We can provide you with an additional English interpreter during your whole cycling trip at your request.
Local culture and traditions: all excursions, entrance fee as described in the itinerary
Other services: invitation letter, registration in Russia and permits, all airport transfers within Russia

Single supplement in Karelia 3* hotel: £30 per night
Russian visa: £75 per person, this includes the consular fee of 45 and our charge to cover processing costs.

Special equipment required:
waterproofs, warm clothes, sandals, boots, warm hat and gloves, swimming items, personal hygiene items and first aid kit, sunglasses, mosquito repellent, mosquito head net, sunscreen cream, torch, water flask.

Gear specification
Bike: MTB Atom XC 2.0, 3.0 and Merida. Hardtail (only front shock-absorbing suspension), 21 gear, V-brakes (tour along the dirt and forest roads only), hanger Acer Olivia.

Bike accessories: No helmets or protection plates (leveled terrain in Karelia). No bottle holders or bike backpack holder (luggage transportation provided). Attention: Tour participants need their own small day packs. The instructor has a repair kit.

Support vehicle: Russian 4x4 car (UAZ Farer or similar)

Boats: inflatable boats Korsar with carcass bottom and motor

Tents: semi-sphere carcass tents by such producers as Loop (Czech Republic) and Tramp (US) for 3 and 4 persons. Accommodation is possible in tents for 2 persons (upon prior request).

Sleeping bags: 2-layered syntepon (kapron and cotton), temperature regime is optimal for tours within summer period (June-August) in Karelia. Individual cotton inserts are provided

Note:
Cyclists are escorted at all times by a small four wheel drive jeep. If you are tired at any time you can take a lift from the jeep and continue cycling when you are ready.
