Day 1 - Thursday - Moscow

Airport arrival transfer to the hotel
Arrival in Moscow. Our driver will meet you in the arrival sector with a Go Russia sign board. Transfer to the hotel.


Day 2 - Friday - Moscow

Moscow City Centre Walking Tour
A guided walking tour around major cultural and historical points in Moscow. You will see one of the famous “Seven Sisters” skyscrapers built during Stalin's last years and initially thought as elite housing. We will visit Lubyanka Square – the world-famous KGB centre of the Soviet epoch, Teatralnaya Square next to Bolshoi Theatre. Then we will continue our walk through the small central streets and lanes where every building has its own unique and interesting story. Most of them currently represent Russian theatres, hotels, museums or state institutions. We will also visit Tverskaya Street – the main and the busiest street in Moscow – with lots of shops, restaurants and unique combination of old, Stalin and modern architecture. We will finish our tour on the pedestrian Old Arbat Street, famous for its souvenirs and street dancers and artists. After the guided tour you will have some free time to browse among the shops selling merchandise and enjoy various Arbat cafes or restaurants.

Day 3 - Saturday - Kamchatka

Arrival in Petropavlovsk. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Welcome lunch in a restaurant

Day 4 - Sunday - Kamchatka

Onboard. Sailing along the coast of Kamchatka
Embark on our boat. Depending on the weather and wind direction these days will be spent sailing along the southeast coast of Kamchatka. We will go ashore whenever possible and explore bays including Viluchinsky, Zhirovaya, Russkaya, Tikhirka and Bechevinka; capes including Kekurny, Nalychevo; islands including Starichkov and Krasheninnikova. We wil look for bears, sea mammals, sea birds, and wild flowers. Scuba diving is also possible.


Day 5 - Monday - Kamchatka

Sail back to Petropavlovsk
Sail back to Petropavlovsk. Overnight in the hotel.


Day 9 - Friday - Kamchatka

Drive to a small lake beside the ancient volcano Vachkazhets
Drive in an all-terrain bus to a small lake beside the ancient volcano Vachkazhets. Camp.


Day 10 - Saturday - Kamchatka

Explore the Vachkazhets caldera and waterfalls
Explore on foot the beautiful caldera and waterfalls of Vachkazhets. This ancient volcano is scenically one of the most beautiful places in Kamchatka and we can easily walk into its caldera and visit a beautiful waterfall.


Day 11 - Sunday - Kamchatka

Drive to Mutnovsky Volcano or Avacha Volcano plateau
Drive to Mutnovsky Volcano or Avacha Volcano plateau. Mutnovsky is still active and after climbing through a canyon past a glacier belching steam we enter the crater with its geysers, fumaroles, mud pools, spectacular rock formations and colours - a "journey to the centre of the earth". Camp or lodge there.


Day 12 - Monday - Kamchatka

Explore the tundra for flowers
Explore the tundra close to the volcano for flowers. Return back to the hotel.


Day 13 - Tuesday - Kamchatka

Helicopter trip to the Valley of Geysers (Optional)
A helicopter trip to the Valley of Geysers. We will enjoy a breathtaking helicopter flight, skimming over Kamchatka's spine of towering volcanoes, and finally landing in the UNESCO World Heritage-Listed Valley of Geysers. Here we will see more than twenty active geysers and numerous mud pools, surrounded by beautiful and powerful water-and-steam fountains. Lunch will be provided during the day. Return to the helicopter base and then to Petropavlovsk.

Visit a local farm, folk concert and traditional dinner
We will also visit a local farm, where a folk concert will be performed in a yurt, a traditional local house. After the concert, you will be welcomed with a traditional dinner, giving you the opportunity to sample various seafood dishes, homemade balsam and the famous Russian vodka.

Day 14 - Wednesday - Kamchatka - Moscow

Check-out from the hotel, transfer to the airport and depart to Moscow

Transfer from the local airport to the international airport
