ITINERARY

Day 1. Arrival in Moscow. Transfer from international airport to your hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may have enough time for some sightseeing in Moscow or check Russian cuisine in local restaurants.

Day 2. Breakfast in the hotel. Free time. Check-out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for the overnight flight to Petropavlovsk - the capital of Kamchatka.

Day 3. Arrival in Petropavlovsk, where you will be introduced to your English-speaking local guide. Check-in at the hotel. After checking in to our Hotel we still could go for a run or two if the weather is perfect.

Day 4-8. For the next 5 days you will have the chance to experience some of the longest and most scenic runs in the world of heli-skiing or heli-boarding. Every morning we will decide, in consultation with our pilot and instructors, which areas will offer us the best off-piste conditions, based on the weather and the snow report. After a bus transfer from the hotel to the helipad, we will fly out to special bases located close to the summits of our choice. When we reach the top we will decide whether we want to try long slopes or steep couloirs. Kamchatka’s summits are up to 3,400 meters high and the routes descend for more than for 2,000 meters with a good variety of runs. We will often be able to ski almost down to sea level. After a day full of action and adventure, we can either opt for a short visit to the crater of an active volcano or go straight to one of the many natural hot springs in the area. Diving into a steaming hot pool of mineral water, surrounded by steep walls of snow, is the perfect way to relax in the land of volcanoes. Try the famous local smoked salmon and perhaps a cold beer after your swim. There might be no better place to be … If the weather and snow conditions look promising, we have the option to go on an exciting excursion and ski or board the highest summits on the peninsula. We can either fly directly to the 4,750 meter high Klyuchevskaya Mountain or work our way there over several days, while trying the best peaks along the way. Finally, with a little luck, we could score runs of an unbelievable 4,000 vertical meters!

Day 9. Breakfast in the hotel. Free-time. Check-out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Moscow. You will arrive in Moscow on the same date due to the time difference and will catch your flight back to the UK.
