Rafting & Horse Riding to the Sacred Mountain of Altai (AL-03)

OVERVIEW

DETAILED ITINERARY

NEED TO KNOW

This is wonderful opportunity to discover the mesmerizing land of Altai, a unique world of wild and untouched nature, and to try a variety of activities: rafting and horse- riding. What could be a better way to spend your holidays! Enjoy the spectacular mountain landscape from a raft in the middle of the fast- flowing river, and ride in the heart of the Altai mountains, to the beautiful mountain lake of Ak-kem, crossing the crystal clear waters of mountain rivers and observing the rich wildlife of Altai’s valleys and forests. The route is not difficult and doesn’t require any advanced horse-riding or rafting skills; however you do have to be in good physical condition, as on some parts of the route the change of altitude might be challenging.

As part of the programme, you have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful nature all around, explore fascinating mountains, see spectacular views of Mount Belukha and the surrounding summits, try local food, meet local people and discover all the amazing sights of the Russian Tibet - all in combination with the most exciting activities – so why not to try something different this summer?
