ITINERARY

Day 1. Arrival in Moscow. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2. A bus tour around the city. Enjoy a panoramic view of Moscow from the “Sparrow Hills” observation platform, visit Poklonnaya Hills” - monument in honour of victory in the Great World War.

Day 3. A guided tour of the Kremlin (former residence of Tsars and Russian Orthodox Patriarchs). You will see St. Basil's cathedral, Red Square and the world-renowned Lenin Mausoleum. On request we can arrange for you a visit to the Armoury. Free time in the afternoon in the very centre of Moscow.

Day 4. A guided tour of the Tretyakov Gallery, the biggest depository of the fine Russian art. Transfer to the airport in the afternoon.The strength of the collection is its Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. In the afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight back home to the UK.

We were so pleased to have experienced all that you arranged. Everything went so smoothly with our guide Elena, who was lovely, and with the transport she arranged for us. Thank you for managing the special excursions for us to the workshops at Sergiev Posad. We actually spent the whole morning in the workshops watching and speaking to the students and admiring their work. Nothing could have prepared me for the first impact of seeing Red Square and the area around it, that then takes your breath away a second time when you see it lit up at night. The real surprise for us was the Tretyakov art gallery in Moscow. To be fair neither if us are that interested in art, but really enjoyed it and was actually struggling to get round in the allotted time, because it was so interesting and impressive. Everything about the organisation from your Company was first class and I cant find any thing that I would fault.
