Visitors of the Valley Of Geysers in Kamchatka don’t Step on the Ground

Kamchatka GeysersReconstruction of ecological wooden deck trails has finished in Kronotskiy Reserve and South-Kamchatka Sanctuary. During the restoration there was not only replaced the old flooring, but also created new observation platforms. Trails along bubbling mud baths are equipped with additional handrails.

The first wooden deck trails were built in the late 80s in the Valley of Geysers. Nowadays new pedestrian routes are laid in the Kurilskoe Lake area.

There will be two small size helipads in carefully selected sites of caldera Uzon and on the shores of the Kurilskoe Lake.

Now visitors can see all the sights in Kronotskiy Reserve and the South-Kamchatka Sanctuary by never setting foot on the ground. This is an important condition allows to preserve the unique ecological system of the area.
