Kolomenskoye Estate, MoscowYou do not need to worry if you travelling to Moscow on a budget as plenty of Moscow’s top museums will be free to explore. Do not miss the day when the most of Moscow museums will be open free of charge - the 18th of May.

Moscow has been participating in this international campaign for several years already. Pleae note that special places and buildings that are usually closed for visitors, eg banks or embassies which are also a part of historical value of Moscow and Russia, will also be opened.

Also, do not forget about wonderful museums with parks, such as Kolomenskoye or Tsaritsyno estates. They are especially nice to visit during spring or summer time.

Only the main exhibitions are free. You will have to pay for any special, additional exhibitions featured in those museums (if there are any).

Whatever you choose, good luck and enjoy your time in Moscow!
