Tulip Festival at Yelagin Island, Saint- Petersburg

From May 17th to May 25th Tulip festival will take place on Yelagin Island. It is the third tulip festival in St Petersburg. The Tulip Festival is considered one of the most prominent spring events in St. Petersburg.

Very soon, Yelagin island will turn into the largest flower garden, reaching an area of several thousand square meters, where will grow hundreds of tulips of different forms, varieties and colours. Last year, the island had literally turned into a flower block with the total area of over 1,700 square meters.

The festival will give visitors a beautiful and rich entertainment program, including performances by musicians, florists, competition, as well as interactive areas to create stunning images.

Every year the festival gets bigger and brighter. As compared with first and the last year festivals, the quantity of flowers has increased several times.
