“War and Peace” route in St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg City Tourist Information Bureau (CTIB) introduced the route to filming places of the BBC series “War and Peace” in St. Petersburg.

A six-part historical series according to the novel by Leo Tolstoy was filmed in picturesque places of Lithuania and St. Petersburg has become a true sensation in Great Britain.

The route will introduce you to the landmarks that have become the scenery for the film: Malo-Konushenny Bridge, Hermitage Bridge, Krasnogvardeysky Bridge, Catherine Palace, The Grotto pavilion, Alexander Park, Gatchina Palace, Yusupov palace, State Russian Museum, Winter Palace, Saint Michael’s (Engineer’s) Castle and Derzhavin museum.
