St. Petersburg hotels reduce prices for summer season 2009

As per latest statistics more hotels are available in St. Petersburg. If last year only 5-10% of all hotels in St. Petersburg were available for booking sin global reservations systems (GDS), this year there are more than 40% hotels offering their rooms via GDS.

The hotel do react quickly trying to attract more customers by reducing their accommodation rates.

In June 2008 the minimum price registered in GDS systems was £90 per room per night, now the average price is about £75.
