Russian railways launch premium trains

Russian railways presented to the public the new train – premium class on the 01 June at the Kazanskiy Railway station in Moscow – a gateway to Trans-Siberian and Trans-Mongolian journeys.

All new trains have unified 17-carriage structure: 1 luxury carriage, 3 carriages of 1st class 2 berth, 10 carriages of 2nd class 4 berth, 2 carriages of 3rd class open plan and 1 dining carriage.

The carriages will have a brand – new red / grey colour pattern. All compartments will have an LCD TV, magnetic door lockers. The service compartment of each carriage will have a fridge, sink, microwave and a cooler as standard.

The premium trains will be launched on the following routes:

• Kazan - Moscow
• Nizhny Novgorod - Moscow
• Yekaterinburg – Moscow
• Adler – Moscow
• Novorossiysk - Moscow
• Rostov – Moscow
