Russian Railways Electronic Check-in Facility

Russian Railways are now offering electronic check-in for trains numbered 001 to 199.

Most passengers travelling along the Trans-Siberian railway or between Moscow and St. Petersburg can now board the train without paper tickets. Having completed online train registration (check-in) you will need to present your passport to be able to board your carriage.

Where possible Go Russia will try to use electronic check - in facility on all our standard and tailor-made tours involving train travel. Customers will no longer need to queue to collect their tickets at the train station.
