City-breaks Transsiberian Russian cruises Adventure tours School trips
Dear Traveller,
Summer is the perfect time to be travelling to Russia
The good news is that there’s still plenty of time to book your holiday. With the north experiencing the long hours of daylight that signify the arrival of the White Nights and the country’s temperatures hotting up, a trip to Russia in summer will challenge your preconceptions of a nation associated with ice and snow. Russia’s people extend a warm welcome all year round, but for the next few months the weather plays along too.
Did you know you don’t even need a visa if you want to pay a short visit to St Petersburg? We offer special packages which feature a ferry cruise onboard the Princess Maria sailing from the Finnish capital Helsinki. The included sightseeing programme doesn’t skimp on the must-see sights. You’ll return to Helsinki having toured the Peter and Paul Fortress, built to protect the city from a potential attack by Swedish troops, seen the Catherine Palace and exquisite Amber Room just outside the city and of course delved into the wonderful Winter Palace, the base of the Hermitage Museum which is home to one of the world’s great art collections. There are departures throughout the summer and spaces are still available.
Why not give us a call to see where your summer could take you?
