Russia stops clock change from this autumn

In February 2011 Russian President Dmitry Medvedev cancelled the seasonal clock change in Russia. In March this year Russia permanently switched its clocks to the summer time. It means that from this autumn till next summer clock change Moscow will be 4 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.
Russian authorities believe that clock change may be harmful for health.
Nowadays there are officially 9 time zones in Russia, stretching all the way from Kaliningrad on the border with the EU to Kamchatka in the Pacific ocean.
