Jamie Oliver is about to open his first restaurant in Russia

In spring 2012, for the very first time Jamie Oliver will open his restaurant "Jamie's Italian" in Moscow. The Ginza Project will help the world-famous cook, restaurateur and television presenter enter the Russian market.

It is known that for nearly a year the Ginza Project was negotiating with the chef about the possibility of opening a restaurant chain. The conditions of the final agreement have still not been revealed.

Now the "Jamie Oliver" restaurant brand will enter the Russian market to fit alongside his other projects: his cookbooks are among the bestsellers on the shelves of Russian bookstores and the first issue of the Russian edition of "Jamie Magazine" will be released in December. It is also believed that the "First channel" (Pervii Kanal) is close to obtaining the rights to show some of his television shows.

The Moscow restaurant "Jamie's Italian", is likely to be located on Strastnoy Boulevard and will be open by late spring or early summer next year. Jamie Oliver himself will arrive for the opening ceremony.

"Jamie's Italian" is a chain of Italian restaurants owned by Jamie Oliver which have successfully spread around the world. There are now twenty restaurants under the "Jamie's Italian" brand around the world, including restaurants in London, Dubai and Sydney. According to the a spokesman, after a successful opening for the Moscow restaurant, "Jamie's Italian" may consider opening a restaurant in St. Petersburg.
