M/S "Dmitry Furmanov" is named after the famous Bolshevik commissar and writer of the book "Chapayev" about Vasily Chapayev, a Red Army officer and a hero of the Civil War.
It is a four deck vessel built in Germany in 1985. The boat was thoroughly renovated in 1995, and furnished with carpeting and furniture imported from the USA and Finland. Recent refurbishment was made in 2010.
The ship features restaurants; three tastefully furnished lounges, splendid concert hall, and a small souvenir shop
All cabins are outside facing with a large picture window, climate control, private bathroom, refrigerator.
Passenger capacity - up to 285 people.
Unfortunately the ship is not equipped with wheelchair access and elevator.
