New Museum Opened in the Kulikovo Battle Field

In the addition to the main museum building - a huge barrow hill located in the place of the Kulikovo Battle, the new exhibition buildings are open in the Kulikovo Field memorial estate of the Tula Region.
 
Its Central element is the layout of the field as it was in the XIV century. It presents a chronicle of events on 7 and 8 September 1380, when the army of Dmitry Donskoy defeated the hordes of Mamaia. On the reconstruction of events worked with historians, archaeologists, anthropologists and artists. A significant part of the exhibits are the relics discovered on the battlefield.
