Russia E-visa: Permitted Border Crossings

Plan your arrival and departure through an authorised checkpoint

Russia’s unified e-visa is accepted only at border checkpoints authorised by the Russian Government. Your point of arrival and your point of departure must both appear on the approved list. The crossings below are arranged by means of transport. Check the current border arrangements when planning your trip.

Read our guide to Russian e-visas for application requirements and visa assistance.

Flying to Russia: Entry with an e-visa is usually straightforward when your international flight lands at an approved airport. Confirm that the airports used for both legs of your journey are included below.

Driving or riding a motorbike: Choose your border crossing carefully. Some land checkpoints cannot process unified e-visas. Before setting off, check that your intended entry and exit crossings are listed in the road section.

If your crossing is missing: For a tourist trip through a checkpoint outside this list, apply for a standard tourist visa.
