Xian Guided City Tour

Xian is one of the four ancient capitals of China and an important cultural centre in China. You will start your city tour with a visit to the Big Goose Pagoda, a seven-storey Buddhist temple built in the 7th century and the Little Goose Pagoda. Both temples where once part of a larger architectural ensemble and are beautiful examples of Tang dynasty masonry. A panoramic view over the city opens from the top of the Little Goose Pagoda. Later visit the City Wall, the most intact city wall in all of China. Built to defend the city and recently renovated, the city walls are bound to impress anyone. You can climb to the top to appreciate the surroundings and the grandeur of these buildings. A short walk from the City Wall are the Bell Tower, which signalled the gates city gates opening at dawn and the Great Mosque, one of the first Mosques built in China. The Mosque combines motives of Muslim and Chinese architectural styles which make it a must see.
