Welcome to Moscow, Russia’s vibrant capital. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free to relax or take an evening stroll through the city.

Day 2 – Sunday
Moscow City Tour by Car
Red Square, St. Basil`s & Lenin Mausoleum Guided Tour
Today you will admire the dazzling, brightly coloured domes of the 16th-century St. Basil’s Cathedral, and stand face-to-face with history at Lenin’s Mausoleum, located at the foot of the Kremlin Wall. No visit to Moscow would be complete without the chance to browse the elegant GUM department store, Russia’s most famous shopping arcade. Other highlights of the day include learning about the tragic history of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (view from outside), a stop at the Novodevichy Convent (view from outside) with its fascinating cemetery, and a viewpoint near Moscow State University offering a panoramic vista over the capital.

This morning, explore the Kremlin’s grounds and cathedrals, once home to the Tsars and now the seat of the Russian President, and visit the Armoury Museum, renowned for its collection of weapons, regalia, royal carriages, and Fabergé eggs. In the afternoon, admire Moscow’s ornate metro stations, often called “palaces of the people,” before your departure transfer to the train station to board a train to St. Petersburg.

The high speed journey by Sapsan takes around 4 hours. On arrival you’ll be met at the train station and driven to your hotel where you’ll check in.

Day 4 – Tuesday
St. Petersburg City Tour by Car
After breakfast you'll take a guided city tour of St Petersburg. This, the most European of all Russian cities, is nicknamed the Venice of the North. You'll explore the city's must-see sights, including the Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Church of Christ's Resurrection (also known as the Saviour of the Blood). You will also lay eyes on the famous cruiser Aurora, the legendary ship whose cannon, on Lenin's orders, signalled the beginning of the Great Social Revolution.

Day 5 – Wednesday

Evening Northern Lights Tour
Transfer from the airport to the hotel
This morning, discover the magnificent Hermitage Museum, one of the world’s greatest art collections, housed in the Winter Palace. Later, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Murmansk, the largest city north of the Arctic Circle. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to a 4* hotel. In the evening, set off on your first Northern Lights hunt (subject to weather conditions). Overnight in Murmansk.

Day 6 – Thursday

Full Day Tour to Teriberka

Today, embark on a full-day adventure to Teriberka, a remote village on the shores of the Barents Sea. Along the way, admire tundra landscapes and visit sites such as the Teriberka Wind Park, the ship graveyard, the famous “Dragon Eggs” beach, and the dramatic Barents Sea coastline. Free time for lunch at a local restaurant (own expense). Return to Murmansk in the evening. Note: excursion subject to weather conditions. Overnight in Murmansk.

Day 7 – Thursday
Tour to the Sami Village
After breakfast, visit a reconstructed Sami settlement, where you will learn about the traditions of this indigenous Arctic people. Meet reindeer, enjoy folklore stories, play Sami games, and take a reindeer sleigh ride (in winter). A traditional soup and pancakes are served for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to the unique “Lapland Village” glamping site, where you will stay overnight in a cozy cupola lodge under the Arctic sky.
Murmansk
Day 8 – Thursday
Transfer from the hotel to the airport
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight. End of tour.
