Saransk - Mordovia Arena

Construction on the colourful oval stadium that graces the banks of the Insar River began in 2010 and will later be the home ground of FC Mordovia.  Its design is the brainchild of local architects SaranskGrazhdanProekt who wanted to reflect the colour palette of Mordovia’s vibrant arts and crafts.  Though at full capacity the stadium can hold up to 44,000 people, it will be modified after the event.
