Nizhny Novgorod Stadium

Located near the city’s Alexander Nevsky Cathedral at the confluence of the rivers Volga and Oka, there are few stadiums that can claim to have such a picturesque setting.  With views across the river to the Novgorod Kremlin, participating teams are going to have to work hard to keep fans’ attention from straying.  The stadium channels the themes of water and wind, and will have a capacity of around 45,000 people.
