Overview

MS Rostropovich (also known as AmaKatarina), named after famous Russian cellist and conductor Mstislav Rostropovich, is one of the most luxurious ships on the Russian waterways which can be compared to a 5* hotel. It is a top range four - deck vessel built in 1980 in Czechoslovakia, and completely redesigned and renovated in 2009.

This modern ship is equipped with high-tech navigational facilities. It has several cabin categories ranging from standard double cabins to most luxurious imperial suite. All ship cabins are outward facing with a big picture window and provide bathroom with a separate shower, individually controlled air-conditioning, mini fridge, hair dryer, safe, flat-screen TV with local and satellite channels. Most cabins have outside balconies. Extra spacious suites have a separated sitting area with a sofa and chairs

The ship public areas include an expansive panorama lounge with a bar; conference hall for onboard lectures and entertainment; fitness room with solarium, hair salon, medical room with onboard doctor. There is a lift serving all decks. Wi-Fi access is available in panorama lounge (fees apply).
